Yesterday Lily had a lovely opportunity to practice and prepare for her upcoming trip to Paris. She spent nearly three hours at Aroma Cafe in Studio City with Fifi and I. Lily was treated to French bread, Fifi dog bones and even a little bit of Prosciutto. Fifi, as you may recall, is Lily’s Fairy-god-blogger.

I would write more but I have another luncheon date. Today I am meeting Pamela of Francophilia fame and her francophile friend, Dennis. Pamela traveled all the way from Paris to meet Lily( okay, maybe there were other reasons). As the ladies who lunch say: Ciao, Sweety Darling!
Update: Ms. Fifi was joking when she put that picture up in which she claimed it to be the two of us. That is most certainly not me. The only thing I have in common with the woman in the picture is that I am a woman and I have red hair. If I looked like that woman I would be modeling and not blogging. There are advantages to not looking like a Super-model, the advantages are few but I am determined to focus on them. The pictures of Lily are in fact Lily as she requires no stand-ins for her photos.

Is that really you? Finally??? Lily looks so so adorable and you look beautiful as does FiFi flowers. I am soooo jealous. I can’t even leave house because of this puppy, that my son is “taking care of.” Just exactly like having a baby. really.
Miss J’s BFF writes her screenplays at the Aroma Cafe. Form time to time, Miss J joins her for a latte. A lovely spot for Ls Bellette and her lovely Lily.
There’s lots of advantages to not being a super-model. We can eat, my dear.

Randal Graves: Make no mistake about it, I HATE L.A. Hate this town. I am foaming at the mouth just waiting to get out of here. A dear friend told me LA is not hell but purgatory. So would someone pay off somebody so I can get out of here sooner? Just because there are nice people here does not make up for it being L.A.
Julianne: Nope, that is not me. If only. Fifi is beautiful but that is not her in the picture. Only Lily is playing herself in Fifi’s post.Lily at first was just like a baby. Now she is more able to be somewhat independent and it is nice. really.

The wee one is SO DANG CUTE in her photo on Fifi’s site. My childhood Westie is long gone and I’ve forgotten how adorable they are (though my peaches and cream longhaired cat has a totally adorable face that now gets all of Momma’s kissie love (right on his widdle pink nose)).
Aroma is almost as good as the real thing. almost.
You are a great writer and communicator and I can only imagine would be an excellent lunch companion, which is why you are so sought after!
