Hooray, I get to play the meme game again. The highly observant and seriously fashionable ENC of Observationmode has invited me to share eleven little things about me.
1. Clothes Shop: J Crew ( but you knew that).
2. Furniture Shop: Design Within Reach. I love their chandeliers.
3. Sweet: Lindt Excellence Orange Intense I always have a bar or two in my pantry and in a glass box that has the words on it that say “Break in case of emergency.” You would be surprised how often emergencies occur.
4. City: Valencia, sadly not in España. Valencia was destroyed by a nuclear bomb in the Fox TV series, 24 and Weeds was filmed in my new hometown. Oh, and, California Institute of the Arts is here. I could run into John Baldessari at the bank, it could happen.
5. Drink: Perrier lime or lemon/ or, Diet Cherry Coke (2 ice cubes, no more than 2 and NO crushed ice. I have sensitive teeth).
6. Music: Morrissey!!!!!!
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INgXzChwipY]
7. TV Series: Pushing Daisies
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8sA8iJfRCo]
8. Film: Le Fabuleux destin d’Amelie Poulain
9. Workout: Channel and net-surfing and the stationary bike at the gym.
10. Pastries: Coffee-flavored cream cake from Laduree or a cheese danish when in the states, and only on a very rare occasion ( but to be honest I am not a big pastry lover, a well timed macaron, brownie, or coconut cupcake is always nice. A glass of cold milk adds to my appreciation).
11. Coffee: Peet’s Latte Macchiato with whole milk and extra foam. I love to add two packages of the raw sugar and then mix it up with the foam. Then I like to eat the foam with a spoon. I assure you I do not do this if anyone is around to watch. But, the crunchy granules mixed with the light and airy foam is one of life’s best and easily accessible pleasures for this weasel.
I am nominating: …love Maegan, Belgian Waffle, Une femme d’un certain age, Make Do and Mend, My Wardrobe Today, Sorting it out, Savvy Mode, and L’ennui mélodieux. Don’t let me down bloggers, I am desperate to know eleven more things about you!

I am dying for a Perrier now that you mention it.
mmm Perrier.. my fave. yep I’m with WendyB. I desperately need one.
Wendy: Perrier and Pellegrino are the only water that doesn’t feel like a chore.
Songy: I am off to pour one for both of you; come on over!
You get nominated by someone fashionable, the first shared item is ‘clothes shop’ and you tag a bunch of other fashionable people and moi? Vraiment? I always feel like such the oddball here.
You are quite mad. But it saves me from having to come up with a post, therefore, merci.
I didn’t know you liked Morrissey. This comes as a complete and utter shock to me.
Amélie? Un film excellent !
more interesting things about you. i got sensitive teeth, too. i missed Dr. Pepper. I just got to taste it when i was in Texas last year. we don’t have it here unfortunately. you didn’t mention it but i just thought of mentioning it after reading your fave drink. lol.
and lol @ channel surfing.
Randal:Hey, you are fashionable in your own way. C’est vrai! And, I am sure that you bought your clothes somewhere. Didn’t you? I am so grateful that you keep showing up even as I keep writing about shoes.
I do try and keep my love of Morrissey quiet. So, yes, I am sure that it came as a complete and total surprise.
J’adore Amélie!
Autumn: I have been meaning to mention that I love your new avatar. You are gorgeous! And, I do on occasion enjoy a Dr. Pepper. I like Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper.
Hey, channel surfing is strenuous. I can hang 10 channels in less than 10 seconds.
aww. thanks. *shyness* lol.
and that’s much more interesting. *giggles*
Autumn: Own that beauty, girl!:-)
Hey, you need to get yourself a tube of Sensodyne. Crest Whitestrips just about kill my teeth, but a single brushing with Sensodyne puts the kibosh on sensitivity for a couple of days.
I have two bottles of Perrier every day in lieu of a snack. I’m positive it helped me drop three pounds recently and got me over my platEAU. (Haha, get it?)

M.
ooh! OOh! Thanks!!!! fun times! Eleven random things? …or the same list? …uh, seemingly confused over here
I went looking at YOUR chandeliers!
I’m sticking with macarons…can’t afford the other…
Could one make a chandelier OUT OF MACARONS? This is the question.
Other wise I can’t afford you
M: I do have Sensodyne on my grocery list. I have never used it before so I am hopeful that it makes a difference. Oh, and I cannot and will not use Crest strips. They KILL my teeth. I use the Riteaid whitening strips and there is no pain whatsoever.
Hee-hee! Plat-EAU! I hope I get the same results from upping my Perrier.
xo
Maegan: So glad you are willing to play! Um, sorry for the confusion. Yeah, use the template of clothes shop, furniture, sweets, etc. Cannot wait to read your answers!
CarolG: If anyone could turn macarons into a chandelier it is you. I cannot wait to see what you come up with. And, you could charge thousands of dollars for it.Mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!;-)
Damn, this is the best meme ever! I accept the challenge.
Jaywalker/Belgian E: Hooray!!! I love it when my bloggy friends can come out and play.:-)
i am off to work on me list and will post it tomorrow.
Savvy: Can’t wait!:-)
I won’t tell anyone about your strange Morrissey obsession. Nor a word about the shoes. As for clothes, I just steal them off someone’s back. That’s very Murkan.
Randal:Je suis confus. Strange obsession? No. Highly understandable obsession? Yes.
So you are into a kind of might makes
merino sweaters kind of Freecycle? And, best not to steal other peoples stinky shoes. Please tell me you buy your shoes.
What a fun fun way to get to know you better!
DFM: Thanks so much for coming over to visit my blog. I was delighted to discover yours!
I do love memes. Actually, I love reading other peoples memes and I feel a little awful subjecting others to mine. But, I am so glad you don’t feel that way.:-)
Am going to do it!! Yippee xx
Make do: I know you are a busy gal so I didn’t want to burden you. But, it is a pretty quick and easy blog post and it will prepare you for future fill in the blank tests you are bound to have now that you are at university.;-)
Thanks so much for the comment, darling!
xo/ fashion chalet
Thanks for film still link xx
Fashion Chalet: You are welcome!
Make do: Hope you enjoy. Cindy is one of my favorite artists. I can think of no other artist who understands the power of costume to transform more than Ms. Sherman.
Fantastic list. I’ve given you a little award. It’ll be up on my blog later today…
K.line: You are so sweet. Thank you!! I will be on the look out for your post. I am sincerely touched!xo
thanks for the comment. you know, i like how you interpret my workpiece. =]
Autumn: It is my pleasure to visit your blog and respond to your thoughtful poetry.:-)
Hello, ma belle
What a nice list, it’s always delicious to know these little things about you.
I like your channel workout
xoxo
Seeker: I don’t mean to brag but I am a professional channel and blog surfer—that is how good I am!;-)
xo
Why do you like J Crew so much? Ever done a post on it? I ask b/c I have a love/hate relationship with it; somethime the clothes can code too “young” when I try them on (I’m 43) . . .
Miss Cavendish: We are close in age. I am very careful about what I buy at the Crew. I only do very simple and ladylike pieces. Blazers, skirts, sweaters, and trousers. Really, almost anything I buy there could be considered classics. And, then there is the jewelry. I don’t do anything cutesy or ruffled–ever.
…hee! net surfffing?! At least our fingers & hands are well-toned… how much calories burnt I wonder…
Anyhow, I posted a small token of thanks for your kind words when I was sick…feeling much better now, yes dear more PINK! Hope u like!
~ex LA girl
Lenore/LA Girl:I so wish that net surfing burned more than a single calorie—I fear it does not.
You are so sweet. No need to thank me. Your feeling better is all I needed to hear.:-)
Thanks so much for doing this one, La Bel. You have great taste. But then, I already knew that.
I love Perrier too. Imagine that a fellow so-cal gal liking Perrier! We’re so UNIQUE that way, LOL!
Enc:Thanks so much for tagging me. This was a fun and easy one. Loved it!
Tattinchic: I know, totally shocking!;-)
I’m so sad, dear Samos Sis, that you did not choose my homeroasted coffee for your favorite
Oh wait, I never did send that to you did I????
I’m a very bad blogging buddy.
xoxo
CC
Looks like fun! I’ll have my answers up tomorrow.
Corfu Cousin: Did I mention how much I have missed you?????? I have missed you!!!!! I am just so happy that you are back that I will forgive you for not sending me some of your famous coffee. But, hey, if you want to send me some I would never say no.;-)
xoxoxo
Deja: I look forward to reading your list of 11!
I love orange chocolate. Mmmm
and your coffee choice is served in Italian cages all over Melbourne. Except we used to pour the sugar from a sugar pourer jug with a spout. Add a banqette booth and 4 hungry students making sugar crunching noises.
nice 11
xx
Hammie: You have excellent taste!!What kind of orange chocolate do you like?
And, it is so funny to hear that I am not the only one who does the sugar/foam thing. I never met anyone before who had ever done this. I am happy to know if I go to Melbourne I can get my coffee of choice and openly enjoy my foam and sugar.;-)
I haven’t seen Pushing Daisies yet? Is it as good as Weeds?
Paula: It is soooooooooo different. Really, apples an oranges. If you like the movie Amelie there is a very good chance you will like it. Did you see the ill-fated show “Wonderfalls”? It is written by same person. I think you can watch last season of Pushing up Daisies on ABC.com. If not, you can get it from Netflix. If you watch it please let me know if you like it.
